VETERANS BREAKFAST
The annual project that the Peabody Veteran Memorial High School Junior Rotary Club is to host a breakfast for Peabody, Massachusetts veterans. During this breakfast, members of the club interview and engage with each individual veteran to record their oral histories. With these stories we continuously update a database that can be viewed worldwide and give the veterans the appreciation they deserve.
Our first breakfast was held in December of 2013 for the World War II Veterans, with 25 veterans attending. Our second breakfast also enjoyed great success with over 100 Veterans Attending! You can see that video on the 2014 Veterans Breakfast Tab above. Our third breakfast was well attended by 150 veterans and their loved ones, with a special guest Mrs. Joanne Patton.
